WHAT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION IS COLLECTED ON THIS SITE?
IIBA does not collect personal information from you unless you provide it to us. We ask for personal information so that we can fulfill your request. Personal information is accessible only by designated staff and volunteers. We will not share your information with third parties unless required to by law, or having been given your consent.
THE WAY WE USE INFORMATION
IIBA does not sell, rent, give-away or share its e-mail addresses or other information with outside sources. Should any material changes be made to the ways in which we use personally identifiable information, we will post the changes on this page of our website at least 30 days in advance.
Unless otherwise directed, the Immigration Institute of the Bay Area may include a list of donors and volunteers in our publicly viewable Annual Report or other reports as appropriate. If donors or volunteers do not wish to have their name(s) appear in our public reports, they may contact IIBA’s San Francisco Office. Donors who wish to remain anonymous may also indicate so by marking the appropriate box on the Immigration Institute of the Bay Area’s online donation website, contribution form or return envelope.
OUR COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY Physical, electronic and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of personal information. Physically stored information is kept in locked files, accessible only by designated staff and volunteers. Electronic stored information is kept in various encrypted databases, accessible only by designated staff and volunteers.
NEWSLETTERS
IIBA’s email newsletters are facilitated by Mailchimp. Mailchimp’s privacy policy can be viewed on Mailchimp’s website.
If you have registered to receive e-mail communications from us and later change your mind, you may contact us to have your name removed from our distribution lists. The easiest way to unsubscribe from an email list, is to open an email you wish to unsubscribe from and, at the bottom, click the “unsubscribe” button. You may also contact IIBA’s San Francisco Office via email or phone to unsubscribe.
WHAT ANONYMOUS INFORMATION IS COLLECTED ON THIS SITE?
This website uses web analytic services from Google and Alexa. These services record anonymized activity including: pages viewed, mouse clicks, Google Analytics Advertising Features, scrolling activity, browser type, date & time, and others. This information is not intended to, and will not be used to, personally identify you.
