Are you a legal permanent resident interested in applying for U.S. Citizenship?
Attend this workshop to see if you meet all the requirements for U.S. citizenship. There will be a free presentation informing you of the citizenship application requirements and process, as well as a free eligibility screening and English language assessment. If you meet all the requirements, we can assist you with the application. We will also check to see if you qualify for a waiver of the $725 USCIS fee or for the reduced fee of $405.

Most recent income tax return or paycheck stubs
Proof of receipt of public benefits (SSI, IHSS, CalFresh, CalWorks, Food Stamps, Medi-Cal, WIC, Cash Assistance,
Proof of unemployment benefits
Receipt for recurring monthly expenses (i.e. rent, utilities, insurance)
Information needed to fill out citizenship application:
Addresses for the past five years. Dates moved in and moved out of address(es)
Applicant’s social security number
Current spouse’s social security number
Employer and school name(s) and address(es) for the past five years. Dates began and ended.
Dates (exit and return), and destinations of trip of more than 24 hours taken outside the United States for the
past five years
Names, current addresses, and dates of birth of spouse and children
Alien numbers for spouse and children (if applicable)
Date of marriage to current spouse
Date and place current spouse became a U.S. citizen (if applicable)
Marriage and divorce dates for applicant’s previous marriage(s)
Legal status of applicant’s previous spouse(s) (i.e. legal permanent resident, U.S. citizen)
Marriage and divorce dates for current spouse’s previous marriage(s)
