Performers

JENNY YANG is a standup comedian, actor, and tv writer who was named one of Variety’s Top Ten Comics to Watch and has been featured at Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, the San Francisco Sketch Festival, and Netflix is a Joke Festival. Jenny is a former labor organizer, born in Taiwan and raised in Los Angeles who stars opposite Michelle Yeoh as an assassin in the Netflix action comedy-drama series, The Brothers Sun.

SABRINA JALEES is a writer, comic and actor based in Los Angeles. As a stand-up, Sabrina has toured the world and can be seen on her Netflix special The Comedy Lineup. She’s written on several hit shows including Search Party, Harley Quinn, Big Mouth and is currently producing and starring in the new Netflix animated series Mating Season. Sabrina also co-hosts the Audible podcast Benefits with Friends with Mae Martin. She can currently be seen acting in Ally Pankiw’s latest Netflix feature I Used To Be Funny opposite Rachel Sennott.

Sheng Wang is a comedian, actor, and writer originally from Houston, TX. His first Netflix special, “Sweet and Juicy” (produced/directed by Ali Wong), is now streaming. He was a featured stand-up on HBO’s “2 Dope Queens” special and also wrote for the ABC show “Fresh Off the Boat.”

Mohanad Elshieky is a New York based, Libyan-born comedian who made his national TV debut on Conan, has been featured on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Don’t Tell Comedy, Comedy Central, and has toured with Pop Up Magazine. He is currently a writer/consultant for the hit podcast LOVETT OR LEAVE IT and was one of the hosts of Lemonada’s podcast I’M SORRY where each week they unravel the latest and greatest in Twitter gaffes, petty beef and not-so-subtle shade.

Bassem Youssef, dubbed the Jon Stewart of the Arab World, was the host of popular TV show Al-Bernameg – which was the first of its kind political satire show in the Middle East. Originally an online 5-minute show, Al-Bernameg became the most watched show in the history of Egyptian TV with an average of 40 million viewers every week.

- Where is my ticket?
You should have received an email with your ticket from tickets@boxoffice.presidiotheatre.org. If you are not able to find that email, or ordered “will call” tickets, the Presidio Theatre will be happy to print your tickets at the box office when you arrive. - What and when is the Premiere Reception?
Event sponsor guests and Premiere ticket holders are welcome to join IIBA at the pre-show reception located in the outdoor plaza from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM! Please arrive no later than 6 PM to enjoy complimentary wine, beer, “heavy” appetizers, and fun surprises. It may get cold so be sure to dress warmly in layers. The Presidio Theatre is located at 99 Moraga Ave in the Presidio of San Francisco (get directions). For transportation information, please visit their website. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early to find parking and get your wristband. Please note that it is NOT the movie theater on Chestnut Street. - Is there parking available?
Ample parking is available in the lot for the Main Post Parade Grounds, about 150 yards away from the Theatre, along with various other street parking options nearby. There are multiple accessible parking spots adjacent to the building. - Is my ticket for Premiere or General Admission?
If you purchased a $200 ticket or are a guest of an event sponsor, then you have a Premiere ticket. If your seat is in Rows L-X, then you have a General Admission ticket. If you feel unwell, experience flu-like symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who recently tested positive for COVID, please DO NOT attend the event.
