Give through a Donor Advised Fund

Support immigration legal services and education in Northern California at this critical time through your Donor Advised Fund (DAF). A gift from your DAF helps ensure IIBA can stand up for the rule of law, stand with families against injustice, and continue to carve a path forward for immigrants.

HERE ARE THE WAYS:

Either log-in or contact your DAF Provider and follow their steps to recommend a grant to IIBA (EIN#: 94-1156554), or you can now also use DAFPay.

To use DAFPay:

  1. Visit our fundraising campaign page and enter your donation information (amount, name, etc)
  2. At the payment step, select DAFPay Donor Advised Fund (see screenshot), and then click on the blue DAFPay button.
  3. Search for your DAF Provider and login using your credentials for that site.
  4. In just seconds you can recommend a grant to the Immigration Institute of the Bay Area

For either path, please notify us at giving@iibayarea.org when you recommend a grant so we can properly thank you and keep you updated on your impact — DAF sponsors don’t always share your contact information with us.

Why set up a Donor Advised Fund?

A donor advised fund (DAF) acts like a charitable savings account. It gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to IIBA and other non-profits. You can recommend a grant or recurring grants to make an immediate impact or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts including legacy gifts.
