Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant position provides support to the Executive Director, and provides auxiliary support to the Director of Development & the Communication Manager on specific initiatives including IIBA’s annual fundraising event, Comedy Night for Immigrant Rights.  A successful candidate will be a team player and a self-starter who is highly organized and able to prioritize, has a strong sense of responsibility, and possesses good verbal and written communication skills.  This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to learn and grow within the nonprofit field.

Director of Development

The Director of Development is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all of Immigration Institute of the Bay Area’s (IIBA) fundraising including developing a major gifts program, annual appeal and planned giving, and special events. The Director works closely with The Executive Director and the communications manager in all development and fundraising endeavors.

Summer Law Clerk

IIBA is interested in hosting law students during summer 2022 as full-time law clerks at one of our eight offices. Law clerks will gain experience in humanitarian immigration law through work on individual legal cases and, depending on the needs of the office, outreach or other special projects. The Immigration Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) invites graduating law students and recent law school graduates to apply for externally-funded legal fellowships beginning in the fall of 2022.
