Comedy Night for Immigrant Rights is IIBA’s biggest annual fundraiser in support of immigrant communities. All event proceeds will go directly towards providing high-quality and affordable legal services to immigrant families.

Performers

Beth Stelling is a comedian, writer, and actress based in Los Angeles. Her Netflix special If You Didn’t Want Me Then has received critical acclaim, and she was also featured on the first season of Netflix’s The Standups. She has written for several television series, including Rick and Morty, The Last O.G., and Crashing on HBO.

Chris Garcia

Chris Garcia is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, producer, and host of the critically acclaimed podcast “Scattered.” You may have seen him on Comedy Central, on The Late Late Show with James Corden, or heard him on memorable episodes of NPR’s This American Life and WTF with Marc Maron.

Negin Farsad is a TED Fellow known for her social justice comedy. She’s a regular on NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me and Neil deGrasse Tyson’s StarTalk. She’s the author of “How to Make White People Laugh” and hosts the “Fake the Nation” podcast. Negin has appeared in HBO’s “High Maintenance” and Hulu’s “Not Okay,” and currently stars in HBOMax’s “Birdgirl.”

Sheng Wang

Sheng Wang is a comedian, actor, and writer originally from Houston, TX. His first Netflix special, “Sweet and Juicy” (produced/directed by Ali Wong), is now streaming. He was a featured stand-up on HBO’s “2 Dope Queens” special and also wrote for the ABC show “Fresh Off the Boat.”

  1. Where is my ticket?
    You should have received an email with your ticket from tickets@boxoffice.presidiotheatre.org. If you are not able to find that email, or ordered “will call” tickets, the Presidio Theatre will be happy to print your tickets at the box office when you arrive.
  2. What and when is the Premiere Reception?
    Event sponsor guests and Premiere ticket holders are welcome to join IIBA at the pre-show reception located in the outdoor plaza from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM! Please arrive no later than 6 PM to enjoy complimentary wine, beer, “heavy” appetizers, and fun surprises. It may get cold so be sure to dress warmly in layers.   3. How do I get to the Presidio Theatre?
    The Presidio Theatre is located at 99 Moraga Ave in the Presidio of San Francisco (get directions). For transportation information, please visit their website. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early to find parking and get your wristband. Please note that it is NOT the movie theater on Chestnut Street.
  4. Is there parking available?
    Ample parking is available in the lot for the Main Post Parade Grounds, about 150 yards away from the Theatre, along with various other street parking options nearby. There are multiple accessible parking spots adjacent to the building.
  5. Is my ticket for Premiere or General Admission?
    If you purchased a $200 ticket or are a guest of an event sponsor, then you have a Premiere ticket. If your seat is in Rows L-X, then you have a General Admission ticket. For questions or seat change requests, please reach out to the Presidio Theatre Box Office at 415-960-3949.
  6. What are the COVID safety protocols?
    If you feel unwell, experience flu-like symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who recently tested positive for COVID, please DO NOT attend the event. If you are no longer able to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else (please contact the Presidio Theatre Box Office at 415-960-3949 for assistance).
  7. What is the dress code?
    We suggest business casual. Be sure to dress warmly in layers as it may get cold in the Presidio.
