Opportunities:

CCIS Fellowship – The CCIS Fellowship offers students from partner colleges a year-long opportunity to learn about U.S. immigration law, gain hands-on experience, and support immigrant communities on their campuses.

CCIS Fellowship – Applications are now close

Our CCIS Team offers a fellowship for students at City College of SF, College of San Mateo, Diablo Valley College, Foothill College, and Los Medanos College. The CCIS Fellowship aims to introduce college students tto U.S. immigration laws and experiential learning opportunities for students who are interested in working with immigrant communities and about immigration-related legal issues. The Fellowship also aims to provide professional development training (i.e., public speaking, marketing, resume building) in order for Fellows to develop highly marketable soft skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, time management, mental health skills, and interpersonal skills.

The role of the Fellow is to increase accessibility and awareness of IIBA’s legal services to the college campus community. This goal can be achieved through a variety of outreach methods and the Fellow’s selected project. We start accepting applications in July and select a Fellow at each college campus to start in August. It is a year long Fellowship and Fellows are expected to complete 300 service hours during the year.

When applications open, you can apply here.
