
Grants and Partnerships Program Manager
This position is responsible for the regional hub for immigrant families and the expansion of access to immigration legal services, outreach and education. The Project Manager’s primary goals are to ensure efficient and effective overall management of programs and collaboratives for which the IIBA serves as the Program Manager for the regional hub in the Northern California region. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of the regranting, reporting, and field-building components of such programs. Additionally, the project Manager will be responsible for establishing long-term partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and initiating new contacts with community partners, school districts and local funders.

Pro Bono Program Specialist
The Pro Bono Program Specialist is responsible for supporting IIBA’s Pro Bono Director and managing the client-facing aspects of IIBA’s Pro Bono Program. In this role, you will work to ensure that clients are well served through the Pro Bono Program, while also advancing the program’s goals of increasing IIBA’s capacity to serve immigrants, and strengthening IIBA’s relationship with its corporate and educational partners.

Director of Development, San Francisco
The Director of Development is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing Immigration Institute of the Bay Area’s (IIBA) fundraising activities. This includes expanding our donor base to include a major gifts program and lead our annual appeal special events. The Director works closely with the Executive Director and the Communications Director in development and fund raising endeavors.

Removal Defense Staff Attorney, Oakland/San Francisco/Redwood City
This position supports IIBA’s mission by providing quality immigration-specific legal service, advice, and representation in support of low-income residents in removal proceedings; supervising legal work of employees and/or volunteer workers at sites; representing IIBA at events and partner organizations; and maintaining high standards for legal protocols and record keeping. This position could be based in the Oakland, San Francisco, or Redwood City offices. The staff attorney must make periodic visits to the Redwood City office for client visits.

Law Student Intern / Extern / Law Clerk
IIBA is interested in hosting law students during the academic year as part- or full-time interns or externs, and during the summer as full-time law clerks. Interns, externs, and law clerks will gain experience in humanitarian immigration law through work on individual legal cases and, depending on the needs of the office, outreach or other special projects. These are unpaid positions.

Immigration Legal Fellowship
The Immigration Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) invites law students and recent law school graduates to apply for externally-funded legal fellowships. Fellows will be placed at one of IIBA’s seven offices, where they will support IIBA’s mission by providing immigration legal service, advice, and representation in support of low-income individuals.
