






Staff Attorney, San Francisco County/Community College
The Immigration Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) is seeking a Staff Attorney who will provide access to immigration legal services to students, staff and faculty at City College of San Francisco as well as additional clients in IIBA’s San Francisco office. This position supports IIBA’s mission by providing quality immigration-specific legal service, advice, and representation in support of low income individuals; possibly supervising volunteer workers on site; representing IIBA at events for clients, partner organizations, and the media; and maintaining high standards for legal protocols and record keeping.







Grants Administrator, San Francisco/Redwood City
The primary role of the Grants Administrator is to support the Grants Manager and Deputy Director with IIBA’s contract and grant awards for California Department of Social Services (CDSS). This individual will ensure ongoing compliance with contractual terms and conditions specified by the CDSS. The Grants Administrator will support quality control, data analysis and monitoring of deliverable completion for IIBA’s seven offices as well as for a cohort of nine sub-grantee organizations.







DOJ Rep/Staff Attorney, Napa
The Immigration Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) is seeking a full time DOJ Rep or Staff Attorney for its Napa office. This position supports IIBA’s mission by providing quality immigration-specific legal service, advice, and representation in support of low income individuals; supervising legal work of employees and/or volunteer workers at sites; representing IIBA at events for clients, partner organizations, and the media; and maintaining high standards for legal protocols and record keeping.







Paralegal, San Francisco County/Community College
The Immigration Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) is seeking a full-time paralegal who will provide access to immigration legal services to students, staff and faculty on a community college campus in San Francisco County. This position supports IIBA’s mission by providing quality immigration-specific paralegal services, including documentation preparation and forms completion, under the supervision of an attorney. A portion of the paralegal’s time will also be spent on a range of immigration cases in IIBA’s San Francisco office that are not directly tied to the community college legal services project.







Senior Staff Attorney, Oakland
The Senior Staff Attorney supports IIBA’s mission by providing quality immigration-specific legal
service, advice, and representation in support of low income individuals; provides supervision for
staff, volunteers and new hires; represents IIBA at events for clients, and partner organizations; and
maintains high standards for legal protocols and record keeping.



Law Student Intern / Extern / Law Clerk
IIBA is interested in hosting law students during the academic year as part- or full-time interns or externs, and during the summer as full-time law clerks. Interns, externs, and law clerks will gain experience in humanitarian immigration law through work on individual legal cases and, depending on the needs of the office, outreach or other special projects. These are unpaid positions.



Immigration Legal Fellowship
The Immigration Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) invites law students and recent law school graduates to apply for externally-funded legal fellowships. Fellows will be placed at one of IIBA’s seven offices, where they will support IIBA’s mission by providing immigration legal service, advice, and representation in support of low-income individuals.
